01 Domestic Shipping (India)

We ship to all pincodes across India through our trusted courier partners including Delhivery, Blue Dart, Ekart, and India Post for remote areas.

02 International Shipping

We deliver to over 40 countries worldwide. All international shipments are sent via DHL Express or FedEx International Priority.

Customs & Duties

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees levied by the destination country. These charges are not included in our shipping costs and are the sole responsibility of the recipient. We are unable to predict or control these fees.

We declare the accurate value of goods on customs documentation. We do not mark shipments as "gifts" to avoid duties, as this is illegal.

Restricted Items for Export

Certain natural ingredients (e.g., high-concentration oud) may be restricted for import into specific countries. We will notify you at the time of order if any restrictions apply to your destination.

03 Processing & Dispatch

  • Orders are processed Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays)
  • Orders placed before 3:00 PM IST on business days are dispatched the same day
  • Orders placed after 3:00 PM IST or on Sundays are dispatched the next business day
  • You will receive a dispatch confirmation email with tracking number within 12 hours of shipment
  • During sale events or festive seasons, processing may take up to 48 hours

Order Tracking: Use your tracking number on our Track Order page or directly on the courier's website. Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to appear after dispatch.

04 Our Packaging

Every Rasathar order is packed with the same care and attention we give to our fragrances:

  • Each attar bottle is individually wrapped in protective foam padding to prevent breakage
  • Orders are sealed in our signature matte black or cream outer boxes with gold accents
  • Fragile items are double-boxed with additional bubble wrap for long-distance shipping
  • Gift orders include ribbon, personalised note card, and luxury tissue paper at no extra charge
  • All packaging materials are recyclable or biodegradable as part of our sustainability commitment

05 Failed Deliveries & Undeliverable Packages

In the event of a failed delivery attempt:

  • Our courier partner will attempt delivery up to 3 times before returning the package to us
  • You will be notified via SMS/email after each failed attempt
  • If your package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or non-collection, you will be charged re-shipping costs for redelivery
  • Packages unclaimed for more than 30 days will be restocked and refunded (minus shipping costs)

Please ensure your delivery address is accurate and that someone is available to receive the package. Rasathar is not responsible for packages delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

06 Return Eligibility

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We accept returns under the following conditions:

Eligible for Return

  • Items returned within 7 calendar days of delivery
  • Products that are unused, unopened, and in original packaging with all seals intact
  • Items received in damaged or defective condition (report within 48 hours of delivery)
  • Incorrect items received due to a packing error on our part

Not Eligible for Return

  • Products that have been opened, used, or whose seals have been broken
  • Items purchased during Final Sale or clearance events (marked clearly at purchase)
  • Customised or personalised products (custom engravings, bespoke blends)
  • Gift cards and digital vouchers
  • Items returned after the 7-day window
  • Products damaged due to misuse, improper storage, or accident after delivery

07 How to Initiate a Return

Initiating a return with Rasathar is simple and hassle-free. Follow these steps:

  1. Email us at returns@rasathar.com with your Order ID, the item(s) you wish to return, and reason for return
  2. Our team will respond within 24 hours with a Return Authorisation (RA) number and instructions
  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging with the RA number written clearly on the outside
  4. Drop the package off at your nearest courier centre or schedule a pickup (we arrange pickup for orders above β‚Ή1,500)
  5. Share the return tracking number with us so we can monitor the shipment
  6. Once received and inspected, we will process your refund or exchange within 3–5 business days

Return Shipping Costs: For returns due to our error (wrong item, defective product), we cover the return shipping cost. For returns due to change of mind, a flat return shipping fee of β‚Ή99 is deducted from your refund.

08 Damaged or Wrong Items

If your order arrives damaged or you have received an incorrect item, please:

  • Photograph the damaged packaging and product immediately upon opening
  • Email support@rasathar.com within 48 hours of delivery with your photos and order number
  • Do not discard any packaging or damaged items until we advise you to do so

We will arrange a free replacement or full refund within 24–48 hours of receiving your report, no questions asked. Damage reports received after 48 hours may not be eligible for free replacement.

09 Refund Process

Refund timelines begin from the date we receive and inspect the returned item. Bank processing times may add 2–3 additional days beyond our processing time. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

10 Exchanges

We are happy to offer exchanges for a different size, variant, or product of equal or greater value (you pay the difference). To request an exchange:

  • Follow the return initiation process (Section 7) and specify that you want an exchange
  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability at the time of processing
  • If the desired product is unavailable, we will offer a refund instead
  • You will be responsible for any price difference if exchanging for a higher-value item

11 Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and quality integrity reasons, certain items cannot be returned under any circumstances:

  • Any product whose protective seal or shrink wrap has been removed or broken
  • Products showing signs of use (fragrance oil level reduced, applicator touched skin)
  • Complimentary samples included with orders
  • Digital products, e-gift cards, and promotional items
  • Bespoke and customised fragrance blends
